Basic definition
Black Wire Cloth, often called black wire cloth, black wire mesh, black iron cloth, annealed wire mesh in Chinese. It is made of low-carbon steel cold-drawn wire (such as Q195, Q235) after annealing to soften the metal and remove internal stress, and then woven into mesh cloth through different weaving methods.
Main types
According to different weaving methods, black wire cloth can be divided into:
1. Plain Weave
The most common weaving method, with stable structure;
The horizontal wires and vertical wires are crossed one above and one below;
Suitable for medium mesh, such as 10-80 mesh.
2. Twill Weave
Each warp and weft cross more than two;
More suitable for high mesh count (more than 100 mesh);
More dense structure, higher strength.
3. Dutch Weave
The weft is fine and dense, the warp is coarse, suitable for high-precision filtration;
Mostly used for high-density filtration of liquids or gases.
