Steps to Use U-Shaped Wire Hold Downs
Prepare the Irrigation Layout
Lay out your drip tubing, soaker hoses, or irrigation lines where they will be installed.
Position the Hold Down
Take a U-shaped hold down and align it over the tubing or hose at the desired location.
Insert into the Ground
Push the ends of the hold down firmly into the soil until it secures the tubing or hose. For harder soils, you may use a small hammer or mallet to gently tap it into place.
Spacing Guidelines
Place hold downs approximately every 1–2 feet along straight sections and near bends to prevent movement.
Add extra hold downs in areas with uneven terrain or where the tubing may be prone to shifting.
Inspect and Adjust
After installation, check the tubing for any movement. Adjust or add more hold downs as needed to ensure stability.Product Feature
